Dr. Panoutsopoulou has developed a special interest in the effects of anti-neoplastic treatments on the skin, hair and nails. Having received her dermatology training at the University of Minnesota, which is affiliated with a major Cancer Center, Dr. Panoutsopoulou gained valuable experience managing skin, hair and nail lesions induced by chemotherapy or targeted immunotherapy agents (monoclonal antibodies).
Serving as a Scientific Associate at the “Andreas Sygros” Hospital, a University of Athens affiliated Dermatology Hospital, Dr. Panoutsopoulou became founding member of the newly established, in January 2015, outpatient clinic “Skin Lesions due to Anti-Neoplastic Therapy” by Professors Christina Antoniou and Alexander J. Stratigos.
